Fiber Distribution Hub (FDH)

Our Fiber Distribution Hub (FDH) system provides a crucial connection from the feeder network to the distribution network, offering scalable distribution capabilities ranging from 96 to 432 ports. Designed for applications beyond FTTx PON, the FDH features structural, lightweight, and corrosion-resistant materials. It is powder coated for durability, uses 300 series stainless steel hardware/fasteners for longevity, and includes heavy-duty cable clamps to prevent twisting and movement of cables. Front and rear access doors with door gasket seals ensure secure access, and cables can enter or exit from the bottom. A 35-port removable foam block staging area aids in organization, and a color-coded key mounted inside the panel directs patch cables. The unit includes two door locks and accommodates up to 432 ports with a maximum of 48 feeder ports.

Innovative Cable Management Design: Utilizing an infrastructure backbone design with branching, each group of 12 ports is segregated to enhance routing efficiency and facilitate the maintenance and replacement of splitters. The design includes plastic drums, a slotted backplane for Velcro installation, and a central divider for directional routing to individual cassettes.

Slack Rings patent-pending: Concentric ring slack take-up hubs offering organized and precise management for fiber cable bundles, ensuring easy path routing from splitter to distribution port, and featuring a mirrored layout for a cleaner installation field of view.

Splitter base patent-pending: This base holds up to ten 1 x 32 ABS splitters (100mm x 80mm x 10mm) and allows easy expansion from 1 to 10 splitters using a patent-pending sliding retainer, requiring no tools. Its downward-facing design minimizes fiber bends.
