Quad-band Wi-Fi 7 mesh Wi-Fi for corner-to-corner hyper-speeds

The Nokia Wi-Fi Beacon 24 extends multi-gigabit broadband service throughout the entire home using the latest industry standards. Nokia's first Wi-Fi 7 Beacon sets the new premium standard for in-home Wi-Fi. The Beacon 24 uses Wi-Fi EasyMesh[tm] to create a Wi-Fi mesh backbone in the home and User Services Platform (USP/TR-369), TR-181 and Data Elements[tm] to provide remote visibility to CSPs for troubleshooting and Wi-Fi optimization. Coverage can be expanded by adding up to five additional Beacon 24's to the network using dynamic 6 GHz back-haul and/or wired Ethernet for seamless roaming throughout the home. The Beacon 24's advanced software ensures the best possible Wi-Fi performance. New, value-add services (like cybersecurity) can be installed on the Beacon 24 using Linux Containers for additional revenue generation. With Beacon 24, the subscriber gets an intelligent self-organizing mesh system that can be self-managed using the Nokia WiFi Mobile App.

The Nokia WiFi Beacon 24 is a quad-band Wi-Fi 7 mesh system with Wi-Fi Alliance (WFA) compliant Wi-Fi EasyMesh, enhanced by Nokia value added features. The Nokia WiFi Beacon 24 will take the role of wireless router with access to the broadband network and the wireless mesh network can be extended further with additional Beacon 24 units. Nokia Corteca Device Software creates a self-healing, self-optimizing network. It includes intelligent channel selection, band steering, client steering and backhaul management to provide the best Wi-Fi performance. Through Data Elements, the most important performance indicators of the Wi-Fi network are reported for troubleshooting and Wi-Fi optimization.

Optionally, the Nokia WiFi Beacon 24 can be managed by the Nokia Corteca Home Controller through the Broadband Forum's User Services Platform (USP/TR-369).

The associated Console presents the help desk agents with a holistic view of the in-home network to assist them with easy identification and instantaneous resolution of issues as well as offering recommendations for operator upsell opportunities. The Console also improves network operations with Wi-Fi optimization and monitoring through high granularity of radio resource management (RRM) algorithms and reporting.

The Nokia WiFi Mobile App provides home users with an intuitive and simplified interface for trouble-free management of their home network and Wi-Fi. It also provides advanced functions such as guest Wi- Fi management and parental controls.

CSPs can offer new, value-add services to their customers, leveraging Nokia's ecosystem of app developers. The Beacon 24 supports the latest, fully integrated cybersecurity application from F-Secure which is delivered as a containerized application.
